Adakhan Madumarov Hastaneden SCNS Ön Tutuklama Merkezine Nakledildi
Deputy Adakhan Madumarov, who was arrested on a court order, has been transferred from a hospital to the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) in Kyrgyzstan. This information was provided by the Butun Kyrgyzstan party to the 24.kg news agency.
Madumarov was taken to the Mirsaid Mirrakhimov Cardiology Center for treatment after his health deteriorated. Doctors examined him and prescribed the necessary medical care.
The deputy was hospitalized on October 26 due to his worsening health condition. He was detained on September 2 and placed in the SCNS pre-trial detention center according to the court’s decision.
The Parliament had previously given permission to prosecute Deputy Adakhan Madumarov. The case relates to a protocol signed in 2009 in Khujand. During his tenure as the secretary of the Security Council, Madumarov signed a document with Tajikistan that allowed the Kyrgyz side to lease a plot of land for 49 years. The protocol was adopted after negotiations in Khujand, and it aimed to regulate economic activities along the state border line until its demarcation and delimitation is completed.
Adakhan Madumarov is facing charges of treason.
