Antalya açıklarında gemi battı
Hatay İskenderun Limanı’ndan Ukrayna’ya maden taşıyan yabancı bandıralı ticari gemi, Antalya Kumluca açıklarında battı. Suriye uyruklu 14 mürettebattan 5’i kurtarıldı, 1 kişi ise hayatını kaybetti. 8 kişiyi arama çalışması sürüyor.
Antalya’nın Kumluca ilçesi açıklarında, Gine-Bissau bandıralı ticari geminin batması sonucu 5 personel kurtarıldı, 1 kişi hayatını kaybetti, 8 kişi ise aranıyor.
İskenderun Limanı’ndan gece saatlerinde ayrılan 86 metre uzunluğundaki gemi, Ukrayna’ya metal alüminyum üretiminde kullanılan 3 bin ton boksit madeni götürüyordu. Kumluca açıklarına gelindiği sırada bilinmeyen nedenle gemi su almaya başladı. Bunun üzerine acil yardım çağrısı gönderildi.
Sahil Güvenlik ekipleri hemen harekete geçti. Bölgeye 1 korvet, 7 bot, 2 helikopter ve 1 uçak sevk edildi. Ancak 14 mürettabatın olduğu gemi dakikalar içinde suya gömüldü. Ekipler ilk etapta 5 kişiyi sudan çıkarmayı başardı.
9 personel için arama çalışması başlatıldı. Yaklaşık 15 saat sonra Suriye uyruklu bir kişinin cansız bedenine ulaşıldı. Kayıp 8 gemiciyi arama çalışmaları sürüyor. Ancak etkili olan fırtına kurtarma çalışmalarını olumsuz etkiliyor.
Olayla ilgili Kumluca Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı tarafından da soruşturma başlatıldı.
Batan gemidekilerin Suriye uyruklu Mhmod Smea, Alaa Mansour, Bassem Aris, Aziz Kherbek, Ali Beshlawi, Mustafa Hemdan, Jaafar Haifa, Hasan Jaser, Nabil Hasan, Abdulrahman Fawakhrji, Emad Jrad, Gadır Shaaban, Bassim Tawil, Ramez Namrah olduğu belirlendi.
