Ayhan Menteş’in “Anlamlı Tesadüfler” isimli sergisi açıldı
Dünya Sanat Günü nedeniyle Akdeniz Avrupa Sanat Derneği (EMAA) ve Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi Kıbrıs Araştırmaları Merkezi (DAÜ-KAM) işbirliğinde organize edilen
“Anlamlı Tesadüfler” sergisi açıldı.
EMAA’dan yapılan yazılı açıklamaya göre dün akşam Akdeniz Avrupa Sanat Derneği (EMAA) lokalinde açılan sergide Ayhan Menteş’in resim, heykel ve eskizleri ve İnal Bilsel’in ses tasarımı ve müzik enstalasyonu sanatseverlerle buluştu.
Serginin açılışında bir konuşma yapan EMAA Eş Başkanı Esra Plümer Bardak, EMAA ile DAÜ-KAM’ın 2014 yılından beridir devam eden işbirliği kapsamında sürdürülen projelerin önemini vurguladı.
DAÜ Akademik İşlerden Sorumlu Rektör Yardımcısı Hasan Demirel de Ayhan Menteş’in renkli ve saygın bir kişiliğe sahip olduğunu kaydetti ve sanatçının dünyasını bu sergi aracılığıyla daha geniş kitlelere taşıyan EMAA’ya teşekkür etti.
Ayhan Menteş’in kızı, Uzay Güvendik de böylesi bir çalışmanın babası adına kendisini de onurlandırdığını kaydetti.
Sergi, 6 Mayıs Cumartesi gününe kadar hafta içi Salı’dan Cuma’ya 16.00-19.00; Cumartesi ise 10.00-13.00 saatleri arasında ziyaret edilebilecek.
