Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu’nun Fatih Sultan Mehmed rolünü ilk duyduğundaki tepkisi çok çok ilginç!

İlk sezonu çok beğenilen ve dünya çapında ilgi gören dizinin ikinci sezonu da izleyicilerle buluştu. Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu yine adından söz ettiren güçlü bir performans ortaya koydu.
Dizi ve sinema filmleri ile tanınan Üzümoğlu aslında sanatın farklı bir alanıyla da ilgileniyor. Bir fotoğrafçı olarak da çalışmalar yürüten oyuncu, açtığı sergi ile bu sevdasını profesyonel bir noktaya taşıdı. Oyuncu, “Yalnızca bir oyuncu olarak değil, aynı zamanda fotoğrafçı olarak da seyircinin karşısına çıkıyorum” diye konuştu.
TV100’de yayınlanan röportajında fotoğrafçılığa merakının orta okulda başladığını ifade eden Üzümoğlu, dedesinden kalan makina ile başladığı serüveni yıllar içinde profesyonel bir noktaya taşıdı. Oyuncu, 15 yıldır fotoğrafçılık konusunda çaba ortaya koyduğunu belirtirken, açtığı sergiyle de bu çabalarını hayranları ile paylaşmış oldu.
1994 yılında İstanbul’da dünyaya gelen oyuncu, en son Karanlık Gece isimli sinema filmi ile hayranlarının karşısına çıktı. 28 Nisan’da sinemalarda izleyicilerle buluşan Karanlık Gece filminde Üzümoğlu’nun rol arkadaşları arasında; Pınar Deniz, Berkay Ateş, Sibel Kekilli ve Taner Birsel gibi isimler de bulunuyor.
Rise of Empires Ottoman dizisiyle büyük bir popülerlik kazanan oyuncu, İstanbul’a fetheden Fatih Sultan Mehmed’i anlamaya çalışarak rolüne hazırlanmış.
Üzümoğlu, “Ben onun yaşındayken neler istiyordum, ben şu anda ne istiyorum, en çok istediğim şeyi ne kadar istiyorum gibi bir yerden yaklaşarak role çalıştım” dedi.
İlk projeyi duyduğu zaman Sultan Mehmed karakterini oynamayı aklına getirmediğini ifade eden Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu, şu sözleri ile akıllarda kalacak:
“İlk bu projeyi duyduğumda ben Fatih Sultan Mehmed’i oynarım dememiştim. İlk duyduğumda bir tiyatro provasındaydık. Şey demişlerdi; Netflix, Türkiye’ye geliyor. Fatih Sultan Mehmed’in hayatını anlatacaklarmış, yabancı bir ekip çekecekmiş, İngilizce çekilecek. Ben de demiştim ki, ‘Vay, elaleme bak Türkiye’ye geliyorlar, Amerikalı birisi Fatih Sultan Mehmed’i oynayacak.Sonra neyse ki Türk’ü oynattılar.”
