Destici’ye Göre “Afrin’i Geri Alacağız” Diyerek Kimden Cesaret Alıyorlar?
Büyük Birlik Party (BBP) leader Mustafa Destici answered Fuat Kozluklu’s questions about the agenda on TRT News live broadcast. Destici stated that Turkey is going to a historic and critical election, and that Turkey is one of the countries with the highest level of ballot security, with 5 political party representatives in each ballot box and the ability for all participating political parties to have observers.
Regarding the earthquake relief efforts, Destici said that “every day, there are better and more positive developments than the day before. The state, along with all its institutions, is there. Our civil society organizations and people still maintain the same sense of solidarity and helpfulness as they did on the first day.”
When asked about the Millet Alliance’s political strategy in the election, Destici said “On one side is our Cumhur Alliance, which prioritizes the existence of the state, the integrity of the country, the brotherhood of the people, independence and the future. We did not form this alliance with negotiations. Nobody asked for the vice presidency, nobody asked for a ministry, and nobody made any deals for parliamentary seats. We put the existence of the state, the integrity of the country and our people first. However, when we look at the seven-party table, it used to be a six-party table. Now, when you look at how Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu became a presidential candidate, what did he get in return for being a presidential candidate? He promised the vice presidency and ministries to all the other party leaders. We evaluate accordingly.”
Destici referred to Kılıçdaroğlu’s visit to HDP and said, “Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu went and visited HDP. Who is HDP? The political arm of the PKK. Even according to the expression of Meral Akşener, one of the partners at that table, HDP equals PKK. This is a true statement. Then, if we follow the statement that HDP equals PKK, Kılıçdaroğlu met with the PKK and talked to them behind closed doors. When he came out, he did not make any statement.”
Reminding his statement when Kılıçdaroğlu’s candidacy was first announced, Destici said, “Everyone knows that the PKK is the YPG, or the YPG is the PKK. Is it possible that Kılıçdaroğlu does not know this? He knows. But because he made an alliance with them, he says such things. However, I think that Kılıçdaroğlu’s ideology, worldview, and political views also have these elements.”
Destici emphasized the importance of the upcoming election and said “Our people will decide on this. We have a President and Cumhur Alliance, who stand by the existence of the state, prioritize it, and are present in Libya, moving in northern Syria, and leading the establishment of the Turkish States Cooperation Organization. On the other hand, there is a Kılıçdaroğlu and Seven-Party Table, who want to advance together with the PKK and other terrorist organizations and win the election on May 14th with the requests of the United States. We have to tell our people these things.”
Destici said, “There are 4 Presidential candidates. Our President will be elected in the first round on Sunday, May 14th. I see this. I am sure of it.”
Destici added, “We, as the Cumhur Alliance, had lower votes when the election calendar started. But now, our President’s votes have exceeded 49%. Voting abroad is over. In past elections, over 1.7 million votes were cast. It has now exceeded 2 million. About 65% of the 1.7 million votes were given to our President, to Cumhur Alliance. About 35% of these votes went to CHP, IYI Party and HDP, and HDP was the second candidate, especially thanks to the German, French and Belgian votes. If a similar picture emerges in the upcoming elections, then there will be at least one more vote from the difference between our alliance and the other alliance – an additional 1%. So when that 1% binds to the current 49.5%, our President will win the election in the first round. We see a rising trend.”
Destici said, “The opposition, known as the Seven-Party Table, is trying to create a pretext for the election defeat. Turkey is at the forefront of countries that hold the safest and most secure elections. We see that they have intentions to create some internal turmoil or political chaos in Turkey when they lose the election. Especially PKK is not the only one supporting Kılıçdaroğlu. From DHKPC to TİKKO, FETÖ to MLKP – all the terrorist organizations in Turkey are supporting Kılıçdaroğlu. Kılıçdaroğlu got the support of all of them by striving for their support. He went to see all of them or their representatives. But our people can be sure that our state is strong.
