İnsansız savaş uçağı ANKA-3’ü ilk kez NTV görüntüledi
Türkiye’nin önde gelen savunma sanayii şirketlerinden TUSAŞ’ın, uzun zamandır büyük bir gizlilik içinde üzerinde çalıştığı ANKA-3 insansız savaş uçağını, ilk kez NTV görüntüledi. TUSAŞ Genel Müdürü Temel Kotil NTV yayınında ANKA-3’ün özelliklerini anlattı.
NTV has released the first-ever visuals of ANKA-3, the unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV). This unmanned aircraft is designed to fulfill multiple missions such as intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), target acquisition, and tactical strike missions. It is a significant achievement for the Turkish defense industry.
The ANKA-3 has been developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), and it’s the latest addition to the ANKA series of UCAVs. The ANKA series has three different models: ANKA-A, ANKA-B, and ANKA-S. These models are capable of operating at high altitudes and extended ranges, thanks to their larger wingspan and more powerful engines.
The ANKA-3, however, is an entirely new design with a completely different set of capabilities. It is powered by a turboprop engine and has a wingspan of 26 meters, which is much larger than the wingspan of ANKA-S. This improved design increases the aircraft’s range and endurance, making it more suitable for long-range missions.
The NTV visuals show the ANKA-3 landing on a runway, and it’s clear how much larger it is compared to the other models in the ANKA series. It’s also significant that this UCAV has a larger payload capacity, which means it can carry more weapons and sensors.
