Kılıçdaroğlu: Milletimiz, “İkinci Tur” Diyor, Başımızın Üstüne!
CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who is also a candidate for president, held a press conference at the CHP headquarters on the Presidential and 28th Parliamentary General Elections with Meral Akşener, the leader of the Good Party, Ali Babacan, the leader of the DEVA Party, Temel Karamollaoğlu, the leader of the Felicity Party, Ahmet Davutoğlu, the leader of the Future Party, Gültekin Uysal, the leader of the Democrat Party, Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem Imamoğlu, and Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş.
Kılıçdaroğlu thanked all voters who went to the ballot box from the bottom of his heart and expressed his pleasure that the participation rate was close to 90% and the process was carried out with democratic maturity. Kılıçdaroğlu said, “Despite all the lies and insults, Erdogan was unable to get the result he was waiting for. No one should have the illusion of a done deal. Elections are not won on the balcony. The data is still flowing. If our people say ‘second round,’ we will win it. We will definitely win this election in the second round. Everyone will see this.”
Kılıçdaroğlu said that “the demand for change in society is over 50 percent,” and that the loss of votes in the AK Party confirms this fact. Kılıçdaroğlu said that they will continue to fight with the people of Turkey for their rights, law, and justice in this country for the next 15 days. He added, “Our people can rest assured that we will definitely win and bring democracy to this country.”
