Merve Dizdar, Cannes konuşmasına açıklık getirdi! “Hepimizin bir mücadelesi var”
Cannes Film Festivali’nde Nuri Bilge Ceylan’ın Kuru Otlar Üstüne filmindeki performansıyla ‘En İyi Kadın Oyuncu’ ödülünü alan Merve Dizdar konuşması sebebiyle eleştiriliyordu.
Merve Dizdar konuşmasında, “Filmde canlandırdığım Nuray karakteri inandığı şeyler ve varoluşu için mücadele veren ve bu uğurda bedeller ödemek zorunda bırakılmış bir kadın. Onu tanımak ve anlamak için uzun uzun çalışmak isterdim ama ne yazık ki yaşadığım coğrafyada bir kadın olmak Nuray’ın ve Nuraylar’ın duygusunu doğduğum günden beri ezbere bilmeyi gerektiriyor. Ödülü Nuray ve onun gibi kadınların mücadelesine güç verebilmek için, kendine layık görülenlere boyun eğmeyip eyleme geçen, bu uğurda her şeyi göze alan ve ne olursa olsun umut etmekten vazgeçmeyen tüm kız kardeşlerime ve Türkiye’de hak ettiği güzel günleri yaşamayı bekleyen tüm mücadeleci ruhlara armağan ediyorum” ifadelerini kullanmıştı.

Reuters’a konuşan Dizdar, “Doğduğum ülke, buradaki kadınlar, hepimizin bir mücadelesi var, bu burada ve dünyanın her yerinde mevcut. Kadın olmanın ne kadar zor olduğunu biliyoruz ve ben de bunun hakkında bir konuşma yaptım” açıklamasında bulundu.
