Norveç’ten Romanya’ya F-16 satışı | SavunmaSanayiST
Romanya, ikinci el F-16 tedarikini sürdürüyor. Norveç, NATO üyesi Romanya’ya 32 adet F-16 savaş uçağı satışının tamamlandığını açıkladı.
Norveç, söz konusu satışın ABD’nin bilgisi dahilinde gerçekleştiğini duyurdu. Norveç Savunma Bakanı Björn Arild Gram, uçak satışının Ukrayna’ya komşu ülke Romanya’nın savunmasını güçlendirip, modernize edeceğini söyledi.
42 yıldır hizmette olan F-16A/B savaş uçakları, 6 Ocak 2022 tarihinde son kez Norveç Hava Kuvvetleri dahilinde uçuş gerçekleştirdikten sonra emekli edildiler. Emekli edilen F-16A/B savaş uçakları, M6.5.2 standardına modernize edildikten sonra Romanya Hava Kuvvetleri’ne transfer edilmeye başlanacak. Teslimatlar 2023’ün sonlarında başlayarak 2024 yılı içerisinde tamamlanacak.
Romanya, F-16 savaş uçakları için Norveç ile mayıs ayında 418 milyon dolarlık anlaşma imzalamıştı. Anlaşma; yedek motorların teslimatını, personel eğitimlerini, bakım ve lojistik desteği de içermekte. Uçaklara bakım desteğini Kongsberg verecek.
Romanya Hava Kuvvetleri, halihazırda 17 adet F-16A/B savaş uçağına sahip. Geçtiğimiz yıllarda Portekiz’den alınan F-16A/B’lere ek olarak gelecek 32 adet F-16A/B ile birlikte Romanya Hava Kuvvetleri, 2 F-16 filosuna daha sahip olacak. Romanya Hava Kuvvetleri, yeni alınan uçakların en az 10 yıl boyunca hizmet vermesini bekliyor.
Norveç ise hava kuvvetlerini güçlendirmek için 52 yeni F-35 savaş uçağı satın almayı planlıyor.
