“Onur Buldu, ‘Tebessüm’ Filmiyle Sinemaseverlerin Karşısında”
“Onur Buldu” starrer “Tebessüm” movie, which gained fame with the “Güldür Güldür Show,” will be released on June 2nd. The film, produced by Avcı Film and Su Yapım, written by Sezgin Cengiz, and co-directed by Sezgin Cengiz and Şiyar Gedik, focuses on the life of Mustafa, who is 35 years old and works in the archive department of a state institution.
In “Tebessüm,” the tragicomic story of Mustafa, who is known for his gloominess and asocial behavior, and whose story changes radically in one night, is told. The film offers a black comedy example fed by the tragicomic situations that befall the character, and features actors such as Seda Türkmen, Adem Tosun, Güvenç Selekman, Özlem Gök, and Emir Çubukçu alongside Onur Buldu.
The plot of “Tebessüm” revolves around Mustafa, who is known for his gloomy appearance, and who works in the archive department of a state institution. Because Mustafa resembles a wanted murderer, he is frequently subjected to police checks, which makes his work an unbearable situation for him. Mustafa’s friend Zeki knows his dissatisfaction with his image, and has a plan to make him smile, which he convinces Mustafa to accept. However, things go wrong, and Mustafa’s new image not only fails to produce positive results, but also leaves no laughing matter for him in his life from now on. Mustafa learns that his father has been hospitalized in Denizli and his leg has been amputated. Mustafa, who is entrusted with burying the severed leg, and his cousin Mehmet, who is the exact opposite of him, find themselves in unexpected errors.
