Polonya’ya dev Patriot onayı: 15 milyar dolar
ABD, Polonya’ya Patriot Hava ve Füze Savunma Sistemi satışıyla ilgili yaklaşık 15 milyar dolar değerindeki satışı onayladı. Anlaşma, 600’den fazla füzeyi kapsıyor.
Ukrayna-Rusya Savaşı’nın ardından çok agresif bir şekilde silahlanma faaliyetlerini sürdüren Polonya, yine rekor bir savunma tedarikine imza attı. Polonya, 15 milyar dolar değerinde Patriot PAC-3 MSE Hava ve Füze Savunma Sistemi tedarik edecek.
ABD Dışişleri Bakanlığı, Polonya’nın Patriot talebini onayladı. Söz konusu talep; 48 adet Patriot M903 Füze Fırlatma İstasyonunu, 644 adet Patriot PAC-3 MSE Füzesini, 48 adet Lançer Arayüz Verbağı Kitini, 12 adet Alt Katman Hava ve Füze Savunma Sensörünü (LTAMDS) ve ek birçok ekipmanın tedarikini kapsıyor.
Tedarikin toplam faturası ise yaklaşık 15 milyar dolar tutarında olacak. Polonya, bahsi geçen sistemin tedariki ile balistik füzelere karşı hatırı sayılır bir savunma kabiliyetine erişecek.
Ana yüklenicilerin Raytheon ve Lockheed Martin şirketlerinin olacağı satışla ilgili olarak ABD Dışişleri Bakanlığı tarafından yapılan açıklamada, “Önerilen bu satışın uygulanması, yaklaşık kırk (40) ABD Hükümeti ve/veya kırk beş (45) yüklenici temsilcisinin ekipmanların işlenmesi/sahaya sürülmesi, sistem kontrolü, eğitim ve teknik ve lojistik destek için uzun bir süre Polonya’ya seyahat etmesini gerektirecektir.
Alıcı offset talep etmiştir. Herhangi bir offset anlaşması, alıcı ile yüklenici(ler) arasındaki müzakerelerde tanımlanacaktır.
Önerilen satış Polonya’nın füze savunma kabiliyetini geliştirecek ve ABD ve diğer müttefiklerle birlikte çalışabilirliği daha da arttırırken Polonya’nın askeri kabiliyetlerini güncelleme hedeflerine katkıda bulunacaktır. Polonya bu teçhizatı kendi silahlı kuvvetlerine adapte etmekte zorluk çekmeyecektir.” ifadelerine yer verildi.
PAC-3 MSE
PAC-3 MSE, PAC-3 Füzesi üzerinden geliştirilmiştir. Hit-to-kill prensibinde hedefini imha eden PAC-3 MSE, gelişen tehditlere karşı gelişmiş bir füzedir.
Füzenin ana hedefleri arasında; konvansiyonel veya kitle imha harp başlıkları taşıyan Taktik Balistik Füzeler (TBM’ler), gelişmekte olan seyir füzeleri ve uçaklar bulunmaktadır.
Patriot ailesinin en modern füzesi olan PAC-3 MSE daha büyük çift darbeli katı roket motoru; daha büyük kanatlar, geliştirilmiş aktüatörler ve termal pillere sahiptir. Değişiklikler, füzenin menzil ve irtifasını dolayısıyla da etki alanını genişletmektedir.
Her bir PATRIOT Füze Fırlatma İstasyonuna, 12 adet PAC-3 MSE Füzesi yüklenebilmektedir. Ayrıca bunun yerine, 6 adet PAC-3 MSE ve 8 adet PAC-3 Füzesi kombinasyonu yapılabilmektedir.
