Scorpions Konser Biletlerine İlişkin Organizasyon Şirketinden Açıklama
Alman Heavy Metal grubu Scorpions, 40th anniversary of the album “Love at First Sting” announced that they will perform in Turkey on May 23 as part of a tour. After tickets sold out quickly, the group doubled the number of concerts. The heavy metal band Scorpions, who last performed in Turkey in 2016, will perform at Küçükçiftlik Park on May 23, 2024. The second concert, which sold out in a matter of hours, will take place in Istanbul on May 25.
STATEMENT MADE
Following the rapid sale of tickets due to intense demand, the organizing company, Epifoni, made a statement:
“Dear music lovers. As Epifoni, we have brought together many local and foreign artists for 8 years. We organized this concert for May 23, 2024, Thursday, considering that the world-famous Scorpions band is also very popular in our country. The concert taking place on Thursday was not our choice, but is due to the route of the band and their desire to not perform consecutive concerts.
The Scorpions concert, which went on sale on December 15 and sold out within 6 hours, made a surprise and became the fastest selling concert in Turkey. At this time, music lovers who were disappointed for not getting tickets have linked this to scalping. However, all tickets for the concert were only sold through the official sales platforms such as Biletix, Passo, Bubilet, Biletino and Biletinial.
As a response to the intense interest of music lovers who could not get tickets for the first concert, discussions have been initiated for the second concert. In order to open the second day, the band changed the date of the Georgia concert on May 26 and gave us May 25, Saturday. Sales for the second day were opened at a fixed price, limited to a purchase of 6 tickets per person, on official sales platforms and the tickets sold out again in a very short time. We would like to emphasize that, all concert sales, including this concert, are carried out in accordance with the graduated advantageous period method applied worldwide, determining quotas from the beginning of each period. The advantageous period ticket prices of this concert were calculated by considering the band’s fee and total costs, and the prices were determined with the approval of the Scorpions band. Finally, we kindly ask you not to pay attention to scalping ticket sales that you see on social media and different advertisement sites. We reiterate that Scorpions concert tickets were only sold through official sales platforms. We hope to see you on music-filled days!”
The group, which has previously performed in Turkey many times, is best known for their songs “Still Loving You”, “Wind of Change”, “Rock You Like a Hurricane”, “Send Me an Angel” and “Always Somewhere”. At the concert, where you can listen to legendary songs that have passed into rock history, been listened to for generations, and become popular, the German group Scorpions will put on an unforgettable performance!
