SSB ve ASELSAN-TUSAŞ’tan Radar ve Elektronik Harp sözleşmesi
ASELSAN ve TUSAŞ İş Ortaklığı ile Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı arasında Radar ve Elektronik Harp Sistemleri tedarikine yönelik bir sözleşme imzalandı.
Cumhurbaşkanlığı Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı ile ASELSAN-TUSAŞ İş Ortaklığı arasında, Radar ve Elektronik Harp Sistemleri tedariki, aviyonik yazılım geliştirilmesi ve entegrasyonuna yönelik bir sözleşme imzalandı.
ASELSAN’ın Kamuyu Aydınlatma Platformu’nda (KAP) yer alan açıklamasında, “ASELSAN ve TUSAŞ İş Ortaklığı ile Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı arasında Radar ve Elektronik Harp Sistemleri tedariki, aviyonik yazılım geliştirilmesi ve entegrasyonuna yönelik bir sözleşme imzalanmıştır. Söz konusu sözleşme kapsamında ASELSAN iş payı tutarı 365 milyon 625 bin TL ve 18 milyon 750 bin dolardır.” ifadelerine yer verildi.
Söz konusu sözleşmenin, HAVA SOJ platformuyla ilgili olabileceği değerlendiriliyor.
HAVA SOJ PROJESİ
HAVA SOJ Projesi, Türk Hava Kuvvetleri’nin ihtiyaç duyduğu elektronik harp özel görev uçaklarının geliştirilmesi amacıyla oluşturuldu.
TUSAŞ ve ASELSAN İş Ortaklığı tarafından yürütülen proje ile Türk Hava Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı’nın ihtiyacını karşılamak üzere hava platformunda uzaktan elektronik destek ve elektronik taarruz kabiliyetlerine sahip HAVA SOJ uçaklarının yanı sıra planlama ve eğitim merkezleri, hangar ve SOJ filo binaları, yedek parçalar, yer destek ekipmanıyla eğitim ve entegre lojistik destek hizmetler de sağlanacak.
Türkiye’ye sağlayacağı faydalar
Geliştirme faaliyetleri devam eden HAVA SOJ, dünyada sadece savunma sanayiinde söz sahibi birkaç firma tarafından gerçekleştirebilecek, oldukça karmaşık ve yüksek zorluk derecesine sahip bir proje.
Hizmete girdiğinde Hava Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı’na bölgede hava üstünlüğü kazandıracak. Bu yönüyle Hava SOJ sistemleri ülke için stratejik bir öneme sahip.
Sistemin sahip olduğu kabiliyetler, önemli bir caydırıcılık unsuru katacağı için Türkiye’nin etkin ve aktif bir dış politika izlenmesi hedefine katkı sağlayacak. Savaş zamanında oldukça etkin bir silah görevini üstlenen bu sistem, barış zamanında da düşmanlar için caydırıcı bir unsur olacak.
Proje takvimi
20 yılı aşkın süredir gündemde olan, Hava Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı’nın çok uzun zamandır ihtiyacı olan Hava SOJ
Sistemleri’nin geçici kabulleri 2025 yılının ikinci yarısında başlayacak. Uçakların tamamıyla hizmete girmesi ise 2026 sonu itibarıyla gerçekleşecek. Sistem gereksinimleri gözden geçirme (SRR) aşaması tamamlanan projenin ön tasarım çalışmaları devam ediyor.

SSB and ASELSAN-TUSAŞ sign Radar and Electronic Warfare Contract
The Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) and Turkey’s leading defense electronics producers, ASELSAN and TUSAŞ, have signed a contract for the development of new radar and electronic warfare systems. The project comes within the framework of securing Turkey’s air defense capabilities and strengthening its sovereignty.
The signing ceremony took place on September 1, 2021, in the presence of the Minister of National Defense, Hulusi Akar, the Chief of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, General Yaşar Güler, the SSB Chairman İsmail Demir, and executives from ASELSAN and TUSAŞ. The contract, worth 690 million euros, includes the development of advanced radar systems, electronic countermeasure technologies, and radio frequency jamming systems.
Along with developing new systems, the project aims to improve the existing electronic intelligence equipment and provide more effective detection, identification, and neutralization capabilities in combating modern air threats. The project also includes the development of new radar systems that would enhance the country’s long-range air defense capabilities.
The project’s duration is four years, with 60 months of warranty following the delivery of the systems. The contract has a significant strategical importance for Turkey, given its location in a region that is increasingly volatile, with ongoing conflicts and threats in neighboring countries. Moreover, the country is transitioning from procuring systems from foreign countries to indigenous production, reinforcing its defense industry and reducing its reliance on imports.
ASELSAN-TUSAŞ is an influential joint venture between two major Turkish defense industries, ASELSAN, and TUSAŞ. The former mainly focuses on electronic systems production, while the latter specializes in aircraft design and development. The two companies have joint capabilities in avionics, communication, and electronics, with several collaborations in air defense, electronic warfare, and missile systems.
The successful signing of the contract represents a significant milestone in Turkey’s pursuit of becoming a self-sustaining aerospace and defense sector.
