
Türkiye’de Yeşil Atıkların Geri Dönüşümü İçin İlk Kompostlama Tesisi Faaliyete Alındı

Lapta-Alsancak-Çamlıbel Municipality opened the first green waste composting plant in Turkey with the support of the European Union. The plant will enable the recycling of green waste in the region, and it was inaugurated with a ceremony. During his opening speech, Lapta-Alsancak-Çamlıbel Municipality Mayor Fırat Ataser expressed his pride in completing the project that began in 2017 and thanked those who contributed to the project. Ataser explained that the project will bring green waste to life and contribute to the sustainability of the environment by returning it back to the soil. The European Union’s Cyprus Mission Director Stefan Simosis pointed out that the project is an important step in reducing waste and contributing to the environment, emphasizing the significance of local authorities supporting such projects.
